Omnichannel vs. Connected Commerce: Why Embracing a Larger Ecosystem Should be Your Modus Operandi

Connected devices aren’t limited to just mobile phones anymore, they’re everywhere: from our watches, to our refrigerators, to in-home AI devices. They are even beginning to permeate our cars! All day, every day, we are living in commerce. ‘Always on’ connectivity is evolving consumer purchase behavior, but other factors such as rising competition, unbundling and shifting costs are requiring banks to take an extra hard look at their business models in order to compete in this hyper-competitive digital and physical world. In this session, we’ll discuss factors that are impeding the current landscape and how it’s important—now more than ever—to move your organization from a microcosm to an ecosystem and create meaningful connections across the entire value chain.

Digital Banking 2.0: How to Deliver a Next Generation Mobile Banking Experience

With consumer preferences shifting from physical to digital, many local and regional banks and credit unions have been left at a disadvantage when trying to compete with larger banks and innovative fintechs. Because they’re often saddled with outdated, complex legacy systems, smaller financial institutions often struggle with their ability to offer a digital banking platform that provides an exceptional customer experience, as well as seamless operations across all of their services and channels. In this session, we’ll explore how a next generation digital banking platform and application suite can help banks and credit unions cost-effectively accelerate their digital strategy.

SPARK Sessions

TAG: How to Harmonize Mobile + ATMs + Data Analytics for a Seamless & Personalized Consumer Experience
In order to truly digitalize, financial institutions need to revamp their core and move to open API platforms that can enable more personalized connections. As is the case with any digitalization strategy, the ATM serves as an integral touchpoint to turn transactions into meaningful and secure connections. In this session, we’ll discuss how integrating other technologies (such as mobile) and leveraging data analytics can optimize the consumer experience. We’ll also answer the questions: What role and what functionalities will (or should) the ATM offer in the future? Will it serve ‘in’ (or outside of) a branch or ‘as’ a branch?

TAG: Human vs. the Machine: How Can They Co-exist?
Contrary to popular belief, automation technology –such as in-branch ATMs—and humans can and should co-exist. It’s simply a matter of taking a step back and determining which processes or transactions should require human intervention and what could be automated instead. In this session we’ll explore how various financial institutions have implemented in-branch technology and the successes and efficiencies they’ve gained from it.

TAG: The Balancing Act between Privacy and Personalization
In a consumer-centric world, how can businesses balance the desire to offer highly personalized services, while still maintaining privacy? Is it possible to implement a data-driven marketing approach by converting personal data into meaningful and relevant information … without risking good faith and trust? In this session, we’ll discuss how financial institutions can responsibly leverage data to drive engagement and loyalty.

PIX: The Digital Branch of the Future: What Role Will The ATM Play?
In order to truly digitalize, financial institutions need to revamp their core and move to open API platforms. And with any digitalization strategy, the ATM will continue to serve as a critical touchpoint that can securely turn transactions into meaningful, valuable connections. The question is, what role and what functionalities will (or should) the ATM offer? Will it serve ‘in’ (or outside of) a branch or ‘as’ a branch? In either case, the ATM is uniquely positioned to bridge the physical and digital worlds as an extension of the FI to its customers—physically—and as an integral means to fulfill digital strategies.
